This workbook is intended to be a resource for teenage siblings of individuals with Angelman syndrome (AS). It contains education about the causes and symptoms of AS, and encourages the reader to process their experience of growing up with a sibling with AS.
Prompts explore how AS affects the reader's relationships, sense of self, and thoughts for the future. Readers are encouraged to use the workbook in whatever way is most helpful to them, and respond to prompts in a way that is reflective of their own style, either by writing, drawing, pasting photos or cutouts, doodling, or just thinking.
This workbook includes recommendations of resources related to AS, as well as sources of support that are available specifically to siblings of individuals with disabilities.
